SPUTNIX Group Becomes the First Private Company to Launch Commercial Subscription for Earth remote sensing Data

SPUTNIX Group, which owns Russia's largest satellite constellation among private companies (part of AFK Sistema), announces the launch of a commercial subscription for Earth remote sensing (ERS) data. The company is the first among non-state players on the domestic market to offer clients a flexible subscription model for high-resolution satellite imagery from its own orbital constellation, Zorky-2M.

The new subscription model aims to eliminate one of the industry's main barriers—the complexity of promptly ordering space imagery. Users can now purchase data at reduced rates through flexible tariff plans. Subscribers gain access to both new imagery and an extensive archive throughout the entire subscription period.

Notably, at the end of 2025, the Zorky-2M orbital constellation was expanded with three new spacecraft, which are currently completing their flight-testing phase. The spacecraft were launched under a leasing agreement with GTLK. The satellites are equipped with multispectral cameras with 2.5-meter resolution, operating in four spectral bands (R, G, B, and near-infrared). In 2024, the company successfully completed certification of ERS data from the Zorky-2M spacecraft, confirming the high quality and reliability of the provided information for professional use.

Imagery from the Zorky-2M spacecraft is in demand across a wide range of industries, including forestry and agriculture, natural resource usage control, infrastructure condition monitoring, and construction.
